Used Mobile Me for years but since it’s ending soon we had to look for a new backup and share “cloud”. So I found SugarSync and have just started using it. Seems to be working well and a little problem we had was handled very fast and complete. So try them!

SharePress from Fat Panda is a WordPress plugin which allows you to create a post on your WordPress site (as this is) and when published it will be posted to your Facebook wall. I tried this plugin some months back and couldn’t get it to work. But if developers keep on updating their plugin, seems that when you return to it, they’ve fixed the bugs. If you can read this on my Facebook you’ll know it’s working for me now. Yeah!

Was talking with a Limo owner who does his
own seo and one thing that’s gotten him high
up in Google is everyday somewhere on the web

BUBBLES

In the middle of the stream

The bright blue lilies floated by,

And bubbles sprang up all agleam

Wandering off without a sigh.

The wind fell soft upon the sand

And birds swooped low to catch a fish,

Along the edge the bubbles ran

And burst away without a wish.

The insects went from here to there

And sang along the way,

As bubbles danced without a care

Disappearing ‘neath the spray.

I have a client who wants to sell her videos on her site. Well I thought it’d be easy to google companies that did that for you. Come to find there really aren’t many. And the ones we did find are in the UK. The 2 we looked at were: Karsa and http://Streaming Video Provider Karsa looked good and simple, and would have been if the client only sold videos. But alas she didn’t so the redirect from paypal would not work for her non ppv items. They take 10%. Streaming Video Provider is a monthly provider with a bit upscale look (and much more options) We’re working on it at the moment so more to come. See it live at PattyGreer.com

A little bit of a follow up; we found that a wordpress site or Pattys wordpress site didn’t play so well with the setup so we’ve gone to a static page (.html) that is working fine. We found the folks at Streaming Video Provider very amiable and attentive even though we didn’t find all the answers.
